The Faculty of Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering is dedicated to the study of water cycles, fluid dynamics, and the design of infrastructure to manage and protect water resources.
The faculty focuses on environmental engineering, hydraulic structures, climate change adaptation, and water supply and sanitation, hydraulic structures, climate change, and GIS.
Water resources engineering includes computational hydraulics, natural system mixing processes, water resource planning, management, and irrigation.
The faculty focuses on planning, designing, managing water-related infrastructure such as dams and irrigation systems. It also focuses on water quality, stormwater engineering, managing stormwater runoff to prevent flooding, erosion, and pollution.
The faculty will provide specialised labs such as the Wetland Environment Lab, GIS & Remote Sensing Lab, Hydro Met and Disaster Management Lab, and Soil Ecology Lab.
