The journal is published online as a Gold Open Access Journal. This means that the articles are made freely accessible for immediate use right from the moment they are first published. By making the articles immediately available we aim to ensure that they achieve a wider scale of dissemination, a higher level of visibility and a higher frequency of citation. While publishing under the Gold Open Access model is often associated with article processing charges (APCs), these will for the next three years (2025-2027) be covered by the GSRP. A policy review on the matter will be made early 2028. This waiver of APCs does not affect the authors’ rights to their work.
