He is a member of the Faculty of Peace and Diplomacy; Karamoja Peace and Technology University.

Bendicto Kabiito (Ph.D) is a Ugandan scholar and practitioner in areas of peace building, conflict resolution, environmental conservation and climate protection, with a strong and lasting belief in and commitment to the transformation of Karamoja. Since his first experience of Karamoja in 2009 as a university student, to his participation in the implementation of the Karamoja Cluster Project (a peace build project of the University for Peace and Uganda Martyrs University) using a people-to-to people approach in 2013, through his Ph.D research on Karamoja (2014- 2019), to his establishment of Karamoja Ecological Farm (KEF), where the idea of ‘trees and food for peace’ is promoted (2014-2025), Bendicto believes in and commits to the positive transformation of Karamoja. During his tenure in institutions of higher learning, Bendicto has served in both academic and administrative capacities, from assistant lecturer, to lecturer and senior lecturer, and from course coordinator to associate dean and dean. He has taught several university courses and supervised several students at BA, MA and PhD levels. He believes in service to humanity and nature, commitment to duty, promotion of peace in words and actions, and leading by example in humility, clear-mindedness and sense of purpose.
