He is a Member of the Strategic Leadership Committee for Karamoja Peace And Technology University and a Chief Scholarship Officer PEPSKA.
Msgr. Daniel Nabuya is a priest of Kotido Catholic Diocese who serves as a Chief Scholarship Officer in the Directorate of the Presidential Education for Peace Scholarship for Karamoja (PEPSKA) at the Karamoja Peace and Technology University (KAPATU).
After his studies and ordination, he served in many capacities as Parish Priest, Dean, Seminary Formator and teacher, retreat facilitator and a member to a number of Diocesan Boards and Commissions. He was a founding member of the Kotido Peace Initiative (KOPEIN) and Executive Secretary of the Kotido Justice and Peace Commission.
Currently, he is the Vicar General of Kotido Catholic Diocese and the Administrator of the Good Shepherd Cathedral, Kotido. He holds a certificate in Project Planning and Management, Diploma in Philosophical and Religious Studies (Katigondo Major Seminary), Bachelor of Philosophy from Makerere University, Kampala, Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Integral Human and Social Development from St. Anselm Institute, Rome.
He is an author, animator, presenter and researcher. He speaks Ngakarimong, English, Kiswahili, Luo and Italian.
